Value Token

Value Token exists for exactly 2 yrs and 9 months now. The kick off was end of June - on the 30th in 2019 to be precise. Since then it's valuation grew by a factor of 15. This has been a great rally for itself but also compares well to BTC (factor 4.1) and ETH (factor 11.6). At the moment our biggest bet is BTC and Luna, but I plan to diversify more in case the Luna bull run continues.

Value Token did really well in the last 6 month (+120% at time of writing). This is a Top 15 (13) result compared to all other public strategies on Iconomi. In this group, Value Token is for sure the cheapest with respect to fees. Part of this success was the slow building up of a stable coin position on the way up, we could use then to profit from the recent correction. Thus, I will start again to sell every 10% up about 3% (rebalance the strategy accordingly). Reference Value is today's price. Let's goooo!

$LUNA starts to take off as I hoped it would. I follow the idea to take profit of 3% for each 10% increase with baseline being the last all time high from beginning of november 21. That way, the strategy is slowly starting to prepare itself for the end of this bull run without sacrificing too much of possible future gains.

As a wise man once said:

"Selling at the right time is even more difficult than buying at the right time."

I'm still convinced that $LUNA will increase in price even more as UST adoption will start to pick up with IBC after the Columbus-5 update. $BTC on the other hand did not show the strong price movement anticipated after corporates and investors started/continued to build up bitcoin positions in 2021. Having said this, I'll start to secure some gains every 10% steps we make from here. Inspired by @Diversitas.

Took profits from $FLOW (+65% in the last month) by adding to $DAI in order to refill the stable coin position (now 3% of strategy). The goal is 5 % in stable coins to be able to profit from opportunities in a market which is trending sideways.

The correction is here. I just bought $ETH for the 7.5% stable coin position which was build up for today's scenario. The bull run is not over yet! 📈

The Top 15 Tokens performed strongest in the last 6 weeks, taking 2% points from the defi group and 2% from the "other" group within the strategy. Especially $ADA and $ETH performed well. Only small adjustments are necessary, in general the strategy is well setup for the upcoming weeks.

I feel very comfortable with the current strategy with respect to the current trading cycle

~50% value tokens from the top 15 - chosen by number of active developers and upcoming news within the next 12 month

~30% defi tokens, I still believe that there is a lot of potential in 2021

~20% other, represented by chainlink, flow and stabletokens (will increase up to 10% to profit from corrections)
