There are a few things as exciting as launching a new currency.
Good news for users in the UK and the rest of Europe! ICONOMI is rolling out British Pound Sterling (GBP) payments for users. This means that you can process GBP payments through your account without the cost and complexity of foreign exchange processes.
The news is especially exciting for users in the UK, and it’s just another way that ICONOMI is making crypto easy for all investors.
Deposit GBP Now
You can now fund your account with GBP, in addition to the existing fiat currency funding option of EUR. In addition to this, you can also conveniently withdraw your earnings back into your bank account in GBP.
Before, if you deposited GBP, it was converted to EUR and EUR was credited to your ICONOMI account. Now we've changed this, and GBP is credited directly to your ICONOMI account.
Let’s take a look at how you can add and withdraw funds in your ICONOMI account wallet by making use of the new GBP support.
How to deposit GBP?
Adding funds to your ICONOMI account is easy and only takes a few minutes. You can fund your account via credit card or bank transfer.
To deposit GBP into your account, log in to the ICONOMI platform and click 'Deposit'. When making a deposit, select the option under ‘Fiat Currency’ for GBP. You will be redirected to a page where you will find the payment details (IBAN and SWIFT) that you can use to deposit money from your bank account.
After successfully depositing funds into your account, you can Copy Crypto Strategies or buy cryptocurrencies and, of course, change them back into fiat currency.
Deposit: Login > My portfolio > Deposit > Euro (under Fiat currencies) > Bank Account > Follow the on-screen instructions
How to withdraw GBP from your account?
To withdraw GBP from your account, navigate to the 'Withdraw' section and select fiat currencies. This will open up a widget where you'll find an option to withdraw using GBP as well.
Login > My portfolio > Withdraw > Euro (under Fiat currencies) > Follow the on-screen instructions
